    It's there

We are upgrading the server and moving in a couple more.

NO Ads = None Period. No banners, pop ups, pop unders ect. I dispise banners personally.

The site should be back online within the hour. This is the first time it's been down in 6 months. If you have any questions or requests, contact us or visit http://www.sitehostz.com

    Thanks,
    Chris

We have more than 60 web hosting related domain names... We used to offer the free hosting under sitehostz.com. But we recently got cpanelhostz.com and put that on the server to get our main business site away from it.

If you were a client, You would have known... Assumptions do not get you anywhere....

Ok, This is done... another reply like this about me and my company and I'll be filing a suit against both you "Jan" and "Freewebspace.net". Then we'll see who is what and for how long they have been...

LOL! This is hilarious. The fact remains: Who the hell cares how long you've been around? And I honestly think the courts have better things to do than take silly cases like these.

Oh, and also, if you decide to sue FWS.net, FWS.net can sue you right back for violating the terms of the contract that you agreed to when you signed up:

"Although the administrators and moderators of FreeWebspace.net Community will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of FreeWebspace.net Community or Jelsoft Enterprises Limited (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message."

    Finished

Well, You know what... I don't recall starting this topic to include Jan's comments. If she is a moderator, Then her job is to moderate, Not to try and make posts to advertise her graphic design or whatever. This is a free webspace category, not web design.

I said nothing about anything other than a server was being worked on and that gave Jan the right to attack me and my company. It doesn't matter how long I've been doing this and it doesn't matter how many hosting businesses that I have.

There was no reason for Jan, A Moderator to post anything unless my post was out of context. So her views or opinions are not my fault. I didn't ask to be put down by her, She took it on her own to whois my domain names to throw things out about me. I think maybe she has to much time on her hands. Get a job or go shopping or something. Don't vent yourself by putting us down when we are trying to make a living too. I have a family and 3 kids to take care of so I don't have time to put up or mess with silly moderators of a free forum.

If I broke a rule, Hey, I'm new, The least you could have done was to be mature and tell me. Not put me down based on your assumptions or because of a whois on a domain name..

    Chris

Moderators are people. They don't just moderator. They chat.

And Jan was just asking, why was it a personal attack?

    cbunting,

problem, as i see it, is that every site that's down when folks here check it out is down "for the first time in six months"

you should removed "% uptime" from your features unless you have some way of backing that up

my suggestion would have been to point (i.e. redirect) the url to a server that provided a page explaining that a server upgrade was in progress and an eta of when the main site would be back up

i understand that the server may have been up longer than a domain name has been registered, but you have to admit, these coincidences don't look so coincidental

this is not Jan's fault, it is your service's fault and you should be more apologetic and less defensive, if you want to win friends and influence people...

...and show how customer-service oriented you are

    Good luck!
