You'll need a chipset driver or something. Why don't you try Dell's website?
Hey all
Due to a "Explorer.exe has caused a blablabla error" given on startup and given my computer was stuck at the wallpaper+mouse+nothing else, I had to reinstall windows98.
I got everything back to normal, video, sound, etc, except that my printer port is.. well.. unrecognized.
In device manager, under commnication ports, only COM1 shows up, no LPT1.
Any idea's how to make it work???
I have some important things to print for tomorow.

In an everlasting search for low pings.
I finally got it to work.
It was under Bios setting.
Parrallel mode.
What's better? Normal or ECP?
Whats the diff?
