Small perl/cgi host wanted
I'm looking for just a small free web hosting spot to teach myself perl/cgi.
Specs I'd like are as follows:
Subdomain
Anywhere from 5 megs to 10 will be plenty of space.
Ftp access is a must for me right now due to what I'm using to access the internet.
I'm not sure how much bandwidth I would need for just teaching myself, so I'll just say 100 mb a month.
An included site manager would be great, but I think I may be able to do without it.
If anyone knows of a place where I can do this, or is willing to help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Is this just for testing "personally made scripts" or for installing "ready-made" scripts?

Probably for starting I'd be picking apart pre made scripts from tutorials to see how they functioned. Then after I start getting a handle on what I was doing I'd move on to making and testing my own.

www.netfirms.com is a very reliable cgi service, which is hard to come by these days. They have 25mb, 1gb transfer, FTP, and banner ads.

Isin't netfirms strictly just a business hosting company?

Nope
They say small businesses on their title but you may use them for personal sites or whatever.

Looks like I'll have to test them out. Thanks Matt, if you would not have said anything I would have still thought they were for small business only.
