urm btw here's what i stuck in index.html in case you didn't look
<script language="JavaScript">
parent.document.title=document.title
</script>
Ok just when I thought I had finally figured this out, it doesn't work! I decided to try changing the title at -------- again to match the one in my actual page. Ugh it worked on a test page at http://freepages.games.rootsweb.com/...jade/blah.html
but it doesn't work under --------'s cloak at http://www.clearjade---------- Why won't it change the title?
I basically replicated the same page (the second link) and named it blah.html!! (the first link)

Log into --------, then change the title of your site there.
What? Not what you want? Well, don't use redirection then...
When you cloak a site, the title stays the same, because the cloak uses frames.
Ach that's not what I meant you guys. blah.html is cloaking index.html and -------- is also cloaking index.html. The blah.html file has the exact same html coding as the -------- cloak. I actually figured out that the script doesn't work across servers late late last night, but was too lazy to post. (I tried blah.html from my local hard drive and the title did not change.) Is there a way to get scripts to work across servers?
Oh, that's easy. Just login to your -------- account and change the title.
Oh, and for your test page, try to rename all your links. Like guestbook.clearjade---------- you should change it to http://freepages.games.rootsweb.com/...ade/guestbook/ or where ever your guestbook's located. Maybe that'll work.
Nooo geez. I want the titles to always change. Not to remain the static one that I set at --------! The 2 pages I linked are set in a frameset (cloaking index.html) with the title "...a ClearJade Universe" while the title in index.html is longer than that. Only blah.html executed what I wanted the script to do, but -------- didn't. I think there are security issues or something.![]()
Security issues?! *lol* I don't think so.
Deal with the cloak, or else don't use the cloak.
Or you can register a domain and try to find some host that will host your domain.![]()
What I meant was that there is no way that a file located on another server can change another file on another server. But fine I give up. I'll put it back the way it was.
Oh... I see what you're talking about now that I've taken a peek at your source code.
Well, like I suggested, change your links from something.clearjade---------- to http://freepages.games.rootsweb.com/...ctualpage.html
See if that does anything. ^^
[ADD]
Hmm... I guessing that won't help things. *shrugs* I suppose you can email the people at -------- for help.......

Huh? Of course that's not possible...Originally posted by clearjade

The whole point though was to use --------'s cloak :/ for all pages to create the appearance of it being hosted there or something to that effect. My current address is way too long. I just disabled the cloak again.
Sorry I couldn't help you out.
Actually, I used to have the same problem as you, but I eventually gave up. Now I'm thinking, titles aren't all that important anyways.![]()
To me they are. Oh well.
