Hi,

i don't understand hebrew at vel.pl ( is it hebrew ?? )

Does anybody there understand this website ?

i want to know how to use it ( external dns especially)

or do you know an english/hebrew online translator ?

It is Polish. We have a few Polish people here as members, but why would you want that domain name if you can't understand the language? Chances are only Polish citizens can sign up for it. I will see if I can find some rules.

Hello,

I confirm it's polish.

They recently annexed the free ONE.PL.

They provide really free third level domain names. The shortest are TO.PL VEL.PL SIE.PL.

This means you may use your own DNS and do everything with your domain.

And Polish is not so complicated (at least their orthography is much more easier than French or English ;-)).

So :

On the top:
NAZWA: type a domain name eg YOURS
DOMENA: complete it eg TO.PL for YOURS.TO.PL
Click on ZALOZ (create)
If you get domena YOURS.TO.PL jest wolna, it means your domain is available

Click then on edycja konta (edit account).
Under the button click on "Zarejestruj sie" (register)

nazwa konta : account
imie / nazwisko : name first name
haslo / potworz haslo : password / confirm password
e-mail : your email

Check "i agree with the tos" and click on Zarejestruj (register).

If you get a "blad" message there is an error (login already in use and so on). Just do it again.

If it's ok you get
"Uzytkownik zostal pomyslnie dodany do bazy." the user has been added successfully to the database

Has³o: Password
Mozesz sie juz tutaj zalogowac : now you may login by clicking here (click on tutaj)

Then you may login. Just enter your login and your haslo (password).

Click on dodaj domene (add a domain). Type it and click on DODAJ (add).

Then click on wpisy DNS to type its DNS.

Then click on dodaj wpis (add an address).
Krok 1. Step 1: choose an entry (typically choose NS and type your nameservers) and click on DALEJ (next).
Krok 2 Step 2 type in your 2 NS names (zapasowy = secondary) NS) like NS1.NNN.COM NS2.NNN.COM and click on DALEJ.

You should get:
Sprawdzam ns1.nnn.com... OK, istnieje wpis A dla domeny!
IP: 11.22.33.44
Sprawdzam ns2.nnn.com... OK, istnieje wpis A dla domeny!
IP: 11.22.34.44
Wpis NS dodany poprawnie! NS entries added succesfully.
Click on powrot (return) to get back to the menu.

The message says your url has not been yet activated.
My guess is you chosed Przekierowanie i aliasy (redirection)

Jane,

The TOS look quite clean and with no severe constraint.
The main terms are: the domain should be used (that is, point to an existing site).
VEL.PL bears no responsability in case of hardware failure.
Sorry, but I'm not so quick a translator.
