Delete the partition, but reformat it ASAP so something doesn't screw it up somehow. It'd be better to keep the partition and reformat it so it's already there for the next flavor of Linux.
I want to take out RedHat9 and try out some other Linux distros, but I don't want GRUB to f*ck up.
So before I attempt anything, how should I go about doing this? Just pop in the CD and go from there? Delete the linux partition?

when u go to install another flavour, just format the partition when prompted during install.
