There's ezboard, homepagetools, and forumco... Are there any other sites like them? And is ezboard the only one that uses their own board script?

There's http://www.revamp.net (It doesn't use it's own script, though, it uses the UltraBoard, but unlike homepagetools it has it without ads.)

I think http://www.coolboard.com is using its own script... but the board isn't really all that great, IMO, considering the ads.

Message boards by gamers.com. Pretty good, lots of customization.

http://www.remoteforums.com/ is doing very well by me at the moment. It's a YaBB. It's new, who knows, but at the moment they're giving very personalized service.

Beseen looks awfull IMO. Delphi looks too confuse for me and probally many others. Gamers.com doesn't look too bad, but I'm guessing they only take gaming sites. remoteforums looks really good, considering they use YaBB. And I really don't like everyone.net, it looks and feels 'cheap'.

    Dunno, I'm just scouting

Yeah, I don't like it either.

Oh, BTW, I think bravenet also has hosted forums (or at least it had before). Limited though, I think...

Bravenet is down quite a bit, and they don't beleive in user customization

The best threaded forums have to be proboards and boardhost IMO

They take any kind of messageboard. Doesn't matter. They've got options for both the branch threaded and the UBB style boards.
