    2 way editing

    Hi

    Me and my mate are currently working on a website....un fortunatly they only know a little html and don;t know about cute ftp.

    We're currently using tripod but that really pees me off because I cant use ftp.

    What I would like to know is:

    Are there any hosts out there who let you use both ftp and browser editor and upload.

    I would like pop-ups not banner ads.

    I cant use ftp on my tripod account.....do u know the ftp address???

    FTP is blocked for Asian users.

    How much space you want?I may be able to host you.

    Not much....maybe 10MB or less.

    I'm not storing massive files, I could probably host my CGI somewhere else.

    I can still ftp at tripod (I checked your IP before replying if it is true that Asians are blocked from tripod and as you aren't, then you should be able to), ftp.tripod.com

    Jan, the Chinese government blocks Tripod entirely, so one wouldn't even be able to access their own site if they uploaded all the files. I know that I can access the main pages and the file manager, but I cannot access any websites hosted on Tripod. As for FTP, I'm not sure, but I suspect that the FTP server is accessible in China.

    some guy in china can ftp at tripod with some proxy

    and distanthost is so hot these days
