It doesn't matter under whose name domain is registered because you can't move it else where.

Ok domain will be registered under your name but you can't get access to dns settings etc.Means it will be only point to your free account.

under the free account's name but they can't get access to dns setting .it mean the domain do not belong to the free account ,right?

You can't seriously expect somebody to do that.
If Faraz were to give full ownership of the domain to everybody, what's to stop people then just directing it to other hosting? or just closing their site (which i'm sure several people would do), faraz is then out of pocket the cost of one domain name and he no longer has your site with the banner on bringing him traffic.
Why would he do that? why would anybody do that?
You get offered free hosting AND a free domain for a little advertising, and you still find things to complain about

2.5 gb is really not alot...and do you really get ownership over the domain ya cause people could just steal it

This isn't a problem.If your site getting good amount of traffic. It can be increased.

do i need a site set-up already or just in the website url just make one up and then for the stats page just do ww.something.com/stats/ and change hte something to your url of choice??????
