11-year-old driver in fatal accident

AN 11-year-old boy was driving a car involved in a fatal accident in Victoria's west, police said today.

A police spokesman said the boy was at the wheel of the car last night when it rolled into a creek, killing a male passenger.

Updated news I just heard on the radio is that the man killed was his father

Apparently he was teaching the kid to drive, late at night on a wet country road.

In Vancouver there have been two 11 year old rugrats stealing cars, and joyriding them.

They're too young to be charged so they get away with it.

apparently the kid could barely see over the wheel.

I saw a picture of him in the paper all cuffed and stuff.

he barely reached to the emblem on the cops shoulder.

of course. i'm way taller than my mum, standing at 166cm (around 5ft 5-7in)

I agree, but unfortunately the father didn't live to regret it. What was an 11 year old doing out at that time of night anyway? It was a school night for starters, so even there the father showed lack of responsibility, without even going into the driving issue.
