need simple message board...

ok, i need a free threaded message board, i was using proboards.com but they are having problems, boardhost.com sponsor ads slow down everything and bravenet makes links the same color of the text with no ability to change it. any got any suggestions? seems everywhere i go they have problems or some sort, oh yeah no pop up ads either.

Use "Discussion" This is a very simple script with some cool small features. It's plan like you asked --> http://www.xhawk.net it asks for php and mysql, it doesn't need a entire database though .. just one table ... and it saves all the info in that. It's fast also. One of the best usenet thread type of scripts I have seen.

I use it on my personal site, since it's so small and doesn't take up much space.. only like 3 files.
