One good ftp & php high traffic host is needed!

'We need to preview your site on another host before we can accept it' or 'Your site needs to be 100% complete for us to give an account' This is all i see whilst lookin for a free host.

I think its about time someone with their own domain not particularly about anything to say 'Hey Ray I could easily setup a sub for u just wait' then give me ftp details then im set.

I would gladly put any ads that pay you on the site and or an add from your site if i were to be given a subdomain

Pretty Much What I Need Is:

- About 200mb of space (for sound files I ripped from AVI videos and large images from southpark wallpapers etc.)
*This wouldnt cause any copyright breach concerns because Comedy Central isnt like FOX*

- About 10gb bandwidth (although less would be appreciated)

- Php (coz my site requires php include)
- FTP (coz browser uploads are slow and it makes me angry)

- dont care about cpanel or email they are not needed.

I know this seems like a whole lot to ask for but I am desperate for FREE hosting.

Think those bits might have just blown it for you, and yes it would still be copyright breach until you get express written permission.

You'd have to have their (preferably written or published) permission to distribute those files on the Internet anyway.

Got one (or maybe a pointer somewhere)?

all the South Park sites have FULL TV episode downloads:

even the official site www.southparkstudios.com ocasionally supports those sites with links to them.

if i cant have small sound clips why can they have all that?

highly unlikely, the SouthParkX posted on their forum that they got issued a Cease & Desist email from Comedy Central explaining that they shouldnt have episodes on their host. SO they just put them on remote hosts and hotlinked them.

You just cannot be too careful these days. Thanks to the $$$ music and film industry's been spending on lobbying resulting in legislation that appear to make even the most trivial copying criminal.

Whether or not that's gone beyond all sensible boundaries is another story.

Why don't you just mail them asking permission?
