Hi,

This message is for web-hosts both paid and free.

Web-hosts always allow us to install "web-programs" on their web-servers.
These "programs" are "scripts" (Perl Cgi, Php, Python, ColdFusion) which are only installable on the web-space or web-servers.
Web-hosts never allow us to install "compiled programs" which are "softwares" and are for not installing on web-servers and web-space.
Compiled softwares such as "smtp server", "web cache proxy server", "anonymous proxy server", "cache dns", "domain-name hosting server", "webmail" etc. ,
these cannot be installed on a web-server.

And so, I am looking for a web-host or some-one who will allow me to install these on their server or get them to install these for me themselves.

Look at it this way, if I want to run :

"smtp", "web cache proxy server", "anonymous proxy server", "cache dns", "name server", "webmail"

then I cannot just upload them to my web-space because these are not Perl Cgi, or Php, ColdFusion or Python.

I can only install them on my own computer or get the web-host to install it on his server which he is likely to refuse.
I do not want to install them on my own computer.
So, I am stuck.
I cannot make use of any of those softwares.
Why do not you provide a service which people can get you to install their softwares on your servers so that they can make use of them ?
Look at it this way, I wanted to run an "anonymous proxy server" so that when the public use it then I can display my sponsor' cpm banners on the top of each page.
This way, people get their anonymous surfing and I make some money from the banner exposures.
But, I am not willing to install the anonymous proxy server on my own computer because I dial-up and my IP changes and I am not always on the internet.
And so, the best option is to hire a dedicated server but that is too expensive.
If the cost was something like the prices of hosting a web-site then that is ok.

I also wanted to run my own "dns cache" server so that I can monitor which urls get the most traffic so that I can link exchange with them or do some kind of deal to get a portion of their traffic to my web-site.
But, to run a dns cache, I must install the software on my own computer and you know why I can't do that.
And so, like before the only other option is to hire an expensice dedicated server.

I also wanted to run my own "webmail" (written in C/C++) which will weed-out all spam.
I had thought of special features which will 100% weed-out all spam. I believe the webmail would be so good that people will dump hotmail and yahoomail.
I had already written up all the features and was gonna get it custom written.
But, again, I would have to install it on my own computer and we know why I can't do that.

I also wanted to run my own open smtp to relay messages out-side the domain so that the public can use it to send and receive messages.
This will give me a chance to add my sponsor cpm banners on each message received/sent.

So, you see, now you know what is holding me back from my ventures and I am sure you will find other people who are encountering all sorts of problems to start their own ventures.
Your best bet is to find-out their problems and provide them a solutionable service whether it be free or paid.

Can anyone provide me with what I want ?

Also, I want paid web-space to run my web-site.
If my web-site goes over the monthly band-width limit, then you must not shut my web-site down for that month nor must you ask me to pay for extra band-width.
As-soon as my web-site traffic exceeds it' monthly band-width limit, you must ad 2 banners on each of my static and dynamic pages.
Usually, free hosts place a top banner but since I am allowing you to display 2 banners on each of my pages then
you must share the top banners' revenues with me 50%.
The banners must pay based on impressions and the rate must be at-least $2cpm so I get paid $1cpm at the least.
You can keep all the revenues of the bottom banners for yourself with-out sharing with me.

You must allow me to install and execute Perl Cgi-scripts and so must give me cgi-bin.
Must give me Php MyAdmin so I can install and execute Php-scripts.
Must give me unlimited MySql.
I will be running a lot of scripts that need MySql.
I will only pay weekly or monthly and will be free to leave whenever I want.

Can anyone provide me with what I want ?
If so, give me list of resources and price.
If not, then recommend me some.

Sorry, no offer from me. You are asking for too much for too little. As stated, you need a dedicated server. The reason why hosts wont do what you want is because you are wanting to do it on a "shared" server. All those programs, especially anonymous surfing, use a lot of cpu resources if they get even the slightest popular. I used to run an anonymous surfing script, and it alone required it's own dedicated server......and 50%, forget that, not even 150% of the banner revenue would cover the cost of it.

Sorry guy, you need a dedicated server. For a host to allow such activities would put him at risk of causing a lot of server probs, and most likely lose the rest of his customers just to please you..
