Hello, i was wondering how i can hold this contest to fill the following criterias:
I need members to refer members.
I need members to post.
My forum is new and i want members, and an active forum as well.
What i can give: a Domain (1yr registration, your choice .com/.net/.org)

How can i hold One contest with that reward and meet both of my criterias?

well the name is what makes this forum unique, anywayz, i also want referals to fit into this contest, so how can i work that out?

but i want the referals to be valid ones, not just fake signups.

Why don't you only count the referals when they reach an certain number of _valid_ posts? IMO that way there won't be many fakes.

i was thinking about that too, i might make that a part of it, like 10 posts required per referal to count as a referral.

that is a good idea. also, you can track ip's cant you? that can help combat fake referrals. the gaming site that i work at has a ip lookup so you can check if someone owns more than one account

yes, i can lookup ip's , p.s admins of all good forums can see their users ip right under their profite, ie: the admins/mods here can see all of our ip's right next to out reputation button, on the sidebar.

hehe, I am only admining two (vBulletin forums) and probably some others that i have just forgotten about, anywayz, i will have to delay the OFFICIAL Contest Announcement for a couple more days, some stuff came up but dont worry, it is comming.
