Lightbulb Free reseller - You make the specifications

    Hey everyone

Latley i've noticed how when everyone asks for a reseller account they're not really asking for one, rather demanding one. When you think about it I would get quite offended if I offered someone reseller hosting for FREE and then they turn around and say "But thats NOT what I asked for!".

I also want a free reseller but unlike some other members i will not *demand* any specifications. Rather I will let you offer what you can. Its much easier for everyone and stops people getting annoyed because no-one is offering them what they want.

    Site Plan:
My Site will be called: Xplosive-Host
Ill soon be trying to get a .info domain or a .net one whichever is cheaper. Although at the moment i have no money (sad i know ) and whether i can get one will be dependant on wether you possibly have a left-over domain or i will have to do some designer work for someone in which case i may have to change my host's name.

I will not be offering free hosting, rather affordable hosting. I will offer plans for everyones needs (dependant on how much space and/or b/w im given)

I will also endeavour to display some ads of yours on my website. These may be in the form of google-ads or possibly website banners but i dont want to go outrageously large and look unprofessional.

    ----

Well thanks for hearing me out. I hope you can make an offer and i look forward to doing business with you.

    Thanks
    Chris

Seriously, pay for things with money.

"You get what you pay for", or you don't. Do you get my point?

Yes i do. Im not asking for any outrageous ammount of space or bandwidth like most other people im asking for what they want to do it.

They get what they pay for so if they pay for their bandwidth and space wouldnt it be their decision to decide what to do with it and how to do it?

Free resellers can be oppourtune for both sides. If the agreement is a pay-as-you-go neither party will lose something, the customer money and the provider the unallocated space and b/w. If the agreement is to pay a commission per sell ie. 20% and say the ammount was $100, if i sold one thats $20 that the reseller wouldnt have got if i wasnt reselling with them.

I dont see whats wrong with asking for one. It cant hurt to ask can it? Maybe you can see a problem with that but thats just what you think.

Yes, you're correct but the percentage is very small.

Oh I was just stating that for an example lol.

The commission would be up to the reseller not me

    Did I?

I made it an open offer for a reseller to give me an account on his/her terms. I never said I would be commission based and i never said I wouldnt.

Thats because it is up to the reseller to decide upon that.

I still want it free but as i said its up to the reseller and if the commission was fair enough i most likely would accept it.

Try http://resellerspanel.com for a free reseller account.

Its pricing is very competitive and its been around for a while now so I guess you can count on it to be fairly reliable.

Resellers panel is really not good at all.

You (admin) dont get a good control panel, you dont have access over what text or content goes on your site, really you cant do that much at all. And im guessing the clients control panel isnt much better.

Thanks for trying to help though, much appreciated.

But im really looking for webhost's offers but unfortunatley it seems like i wont be getting one any time soon.

Why not just get a good free website hosting account and offer to host other sites from your cPanel or whatever using the subdomains and when you have enough cash made, you can purchase a reseller.

Because quite honestly that would be really unprofessional.

Clientel would look for professional services and such and reselling from cpanel really isnt that professional. I mean I could give it a shot but then as said wouldnt be very good.....

Ill keep it in mind though, thanks

Yes. I mean, it's how I started. I got a good webhost provider to sponsor me with a good amount of space and transfer etc and I hoted sites from cPanel using the unlimited subdomains he gave me. I hosted sites for something like 2.00/mo and after about 6 months I purchased a reseller and did hosting for say 2.00/mo up to 10.00/mo. Now I have a server. So, you could do it too.
