Isn't SSL free? Public shared SSL keys are free, I think.
In an everlasting search for low pings.
I mean i need to get a https ssl to secure my billing script

You can use a public shared ssl key for that.
Or you can buy one from Verisign for like, $50 or something.

YourIP.us - Check your IP
Checksite.us - Check if a site is down or not
ReverseIP.us - Check how many sites are hosted on the same server.
Ok maybe it was'nt Verisign![]()

I can't use it,SSL is not cheap.
Your hosting company should provide a free shared certificate, but if you want a private one then you can check out godaddy.com who have $30 certificates.

I've purchased multiple certificates from Ev1 and they work great. Just remember, that www.yourdomain.com and "yourdomain.com" are two different sites. That is why now I always create a subdomain "secure.mydomain.com" and register the SSL Certificate for that domain. If you register yourdomain.com with the SSL certificate, then www.yourdomain.com will not be secure, only yourdomain.com and viseversa.

Yeah, I thought the same as well.Originally Posted by Daniel
