That was a good read, thanks for sharing.
My perodie of Twas the night before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore
Kind of cheesy but I thought I would share
T'was the night before Christmas, And all through the NOC,
not one case was submitted, not even a call.
The servers were running without any error
In hopes that no DOS attacks would appear.
The servers were nestled all snug in their racks,
While visions of websites danced in their Drives.
And tech's in their chairs, and I in my bed,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the site there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the desk to see what was the matter.
Away to the windows XP I flew like a flash,
Tore open up Firefox and threw up the new task.
The users on the site of the new-Advertised sale
Gave the lustre of mid-day to the servers below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a hundred request, for dedicated servers.
With a 160GB SATA Driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be Western Digital.
More rapid than eagles his administrators came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Ryan! now, Steve! now, Richard and Shawn!
On, William! On, John! on, on Jivan and Mark!
To the datacenter! to the top of the rack!
Now provision away! provision away! provision away all!"
As dry drives that before the wild sale fly,
When they meet with a server, mounted to the rack.
So up to the rack-top the servers they flew,
With the crashcart full of trays, and Administrators too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard in the room
The humming and buzzing of each little Drive.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the hallway the tech came with a bound.
He was dressed all in rag, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with heatsync glue.
A bundle of Servers he had flung on his rack,
And he looked like a provisioner, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as thick as the snow.
The stump of a RAM he held tight in his hand,
And the ideas it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old tech,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
he spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the servers, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of the switch,
And giving it power, and online it goes!
He sprang to his desk, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘as he left for his shift,
"Happy hosting to all, and to all a good-night"

Thank you for your posative reviews, I did this during my lunch break at work. I wasn't sure if it would be that great because it was kind of hard to rhyme with the origional with those kind of terms. But I guess it turned out, people in my office like it and in a few other forums.
Nice one dude. No rhyme, but still good. Very nice use of imagry. I could picture the whole thing.
<<No begging>>
It does rhyme in certain places.
