    .be is the international Belgium URL, therefore it could last awhile, just as any .us would last in America.

    No, I am guessing they got the domain when the free .be domains were being registered.

    I was just stating that it could last only a year.

    I seriously doubt he's going to ditch a company because he has to pay for a new domain.

    I think he's trying to say that if the host is too cheap to purchase a real domain, they probably won't last that long. There's nothing wrong with the ".be" domain, it just doesn't look very professional for a business to use it.
