Need VPS for tufat flash chat room

I use webhostingpad right now and I put up a chat room and shortly afterwards the admins chmod my chat folder permissions and told me they dont allow chat rooms on there shared servers... they want $50 a month for vps...which may seem cheap but $50 a month in this economy..i dunno if i can do it.

So im stuck inbetween a rock and a hard place here... Im willing to put a couple ad's on my site for anyone willing to offer me free VPS. My site gets around 500-600 hits a day. with the addition of a chat room, that number is almost certain to sky rocket.

i dont need alot of space at all....i'll be running a flashchat from tufat.com with an average of about 30-50 chatters in the chat room on a nightly basis. the chat rooms pretty much dead during the day, most of my chatters are night time peeps.

You dont necessarily need a VPS for this, Just a server with excellent specs could run flash chat... I know from personal experience...

You might want to rephrase your title and post to get non-sarcastic postings...

$50 would be overprized in my opinion .
You could go in for my $6 vps instead if you want.
Generally shared hosts don't allow chat scripts due to server load issue which I feel is a valid reason.

I agree with Rsmiley. You dont need a vps to use flashchat. I have used it on shared host myself and if the server specification is core2duo processor with 2GB ram, you will go unnoticed on the host.

As for VPS, you will need to pay to get any quality vps. The cheapest one's are provided by "aloycasmir" at $6 per month, and cs-squad.net at $7 per month. You can also go with hostlatch.net at $5.95 if you want cheap vps.

Also, if you look around, you might get a few vps at $3 or so (but i wont recommend them).

For now, just ask for free shared hosting package that will allow your script and i bet u will find a few offers that you may like

You said you are stuck between a rock and a hard place here. For so bad situation, what i can suggest you is find a totally free hosting service.

In fact, I would like to add a chat room in my phpBB. So i am testing kinds of chat software, like 123flashchat offers totally free hosting service. And this free hosting chat allows unlimited users to chat. But there are some enforced ads about 123flashchat in chat room.

you dont need vps you need just php and sql hosting normal hosting
