Warning to free hosts: Free Hosting "Scammer"

A person is on the forum, asking for free hosting.

He then uploads a file named

money.php

and contains this code.

Which, in turn, crashes the server. - unending loop.

I suggest you ban him and save your servers.
No server can handle that code.

hey thanks a lot, now I know how to take down most hosts... lol but I wouldn't do something like that low, I suggest maybe taking that part of the code out because well there might be a few individuals browsing this forum that use that code for no good, you know what I mean

What I don't understand is why he would even do this? I certainly wouldn't get any enjoyment out of it, but I guess its like throwing rocks at cars - the e-adrenaline rush.

I have no idea. The server has been up for like two weeks before, and he uploads this file and takes it down. It's not like I did anything against him. All of his forum posts are "good"

I cant stand Spammers who do that, its pathetic of them... we had a spammer recently and it cost us big bux to get the server back online... grrrr.

This is bull----. I asked my brother, and he has been working on programming for over 15 years, and he said that if the sysadmin ran it, it would not crash. Something like that.

Btw, is it a secirity risk for others to post that code in this thread. You never know, but there may be a second hacker reading this thread, and they may do this to loads of other hosts and create a bigger chain.

This code is calling for a function or sub named edited , nothing strange about this depands what the functions does... ).

anyways I guess its a good idea to have server motioning scripts running live on the background and taking action if cpu gets to over used by killing the over using process and sending a log to the admin mail box... And if this is a free host its recommend you cap the php functions.
