They are a great place to get started... they have all you need and have been fair all along... there staff however sometimes can be mean with the way they handle things. The owner however is a nice and smart guy

I started using Frih about 5 years ago when I needed free hosting to develop a project I was working on.
I am still there and now a moderator on the forums (unpaid volunteer, so I have no commercial interests in the site just to be clear).
One of the great bonuses, particularly for newbies, but also for more experienced users, is the wealth of expertise available in the forums. We have experts in most areas of IT, and most other things as well. Problems are normally sorted out on the forums pretty quickly, which is fantastic when you are struggling with a new package, or a new concept.
Try it - you have nothing to lose and a great deal to gain.

I found Frihost through the FWS Free Hosting Directory in May 2008. Frihost has delivered on every feature that is advertised. I have ad-free cPanel Website space (250MB) and 10 GB Bandwith with free php and limitless mySQL hosting and e-mail accounts. This has just been upgraded to 750MB and 20GB Bandwith. There are no forced ads.
Frihost is attached to a Discussion Forum, which is another source of great support. There is always more than one expert who can provide an answer to a tech problem with a very short turn around time. When the owner has time he sometimes attends to those questions personally, however has very able staff as well as Forum Members who are around 24/7. The Forum is very active with approx. 5000 postings per month and a total of 1-million postings (since 2005).

I started using frihost and within the first half hour I received and uncalled for personal attack by one of their moderators insulting me because he said a post needed content. Unreal.
when it comes to free hosting, the average netizen can only expect frequent down-times, rude staff and insufficient limits.But with Frihost, you will certainly have a very unique experience with their high up-time servers and polite staff who work day and night to satisfy you and high limits
