Pi.dk Review Review last updated: Monday, 10-Nov-2008 15:50:27 CST Danish residents only. They only offer to host your HTML files (300 kb maximum allowed space for html-files). Earlier they encouraged users (at their FAQ page) to load images from Geocities, which is not allowed. Geocities will definately remove your site if you do this. On April 18 I received an email from Pi.dk saying they have read my review and now revised their FAQ page: "We do NOT encourage users to steal bandwidth from GeoCities, but we do however encourage users to get an easily rememberable name for their existing web-pages and email-address, wether these are hosted by their ISP (which is the case for 99%) or a free web/mail-space provider." What this means is that they are a provider of free subdomains without any space, except for HTML pages and you must load your images from some other server. From what I undertand, very few hosts allow you to load images from their server without having your page there. You must put their banner exchange code (BannerByt) at your first page.
