DO YOU KNOW?!

*cough*

Not counting the ME, CE and NT up to 4 I mean. (Yes, include 2000, XP and Vista even though they're considered NT.)

Answer: 8

Is this a trick question? Like Windows as in how many Windows within their Logos? Or versions of Windows?

I don't understand your question... but I'll take a jab at it

There was

Windows 2.0
Windows 2.1
Windows 3.0
Windows 3.1
Windows NT 3.1
Windows NT 3.5
Windows NT 3.51
Windows NT 4.0
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows 98SE
Windows 2000

P.S. I may have forgotten a few but by my count, it's 17 if you don't consider sub-version (ie XP Home/Pro/MC)

sub version would make that list a lot longer. lol

you did however leave out all the windows server versions though. :p

you also left a couple others out...

Windows for Workgroups 3.11
Windows XP 64
Windows XP Media Center
Windows XP Tablet PC

there are also all the mobile versions. the list is just ginormous.

You're right for servers... but wrong at the same time, they are subversions of the OS:
Server 2000 = Windows 2000
Server 2003 = XP
Server 2008 = Vista

They are based on the same kernel but on a stripped down platform with added features.

For the sake of it (and since I have nothing better to do right now...), I'll update the list with subversions
