Ok. I've done some searching on Windows hosting and the outcome - too varied. The differences and options vary so much I can't tell whats a good plan and whats not. So if there are any hosts here that have any Windows hosting plans, please give me the basics of your plan - space, bandwidth, sql...
I too am a former customer and what is stated above is true. They took the money and ran. Also, dont go with HOSTCENTRIS.COM either because they did the same thing. If you're looking for a good host with literally zero down time (zero downtime is what I've had so far) - go with...
Hey.
I'm looking for a host that has servers using Windows Server 2003.
My needs are:
2 GB disk space
approx 15 to 25 GB - bandwidth
MSSQL
- price range between $5 - $12/month with monthly payment plans available, payable via credit card online or paypal.
It has to support ASP...
we were using windows remote desktop and they said they used the same thing. my brother was doing somethings - not sure but he had turned off ssh/telnet so we aren't able to try and get in.
yes we do have more than 1 login but none of them work. everyone that tries to login get the same error.
That address doesn't exist. I wouldn't buy anything from any business online OR on the street that wouldn't even provide a good address. I recommendation: look elsewhere. Maybe try pyschz.net - that's who I host with and I dont have any problems and have had zero down time.
Hi.
My brother and I have a dedicated server through AIT.COM. It uses Windows Server 2003. My brother rebooted it but now we cannot login. This is the error we get (we were unable to take a screenshot):
The system could not log you on due to the following error:

There aren't too many torrent files that you can find that aren't illegal. So beware hosts! If you don't know what anything about bittorrent, here is a site to give you an idea:
http://supernova.org
The torrent files themselves aren't illegal. It is a small file (usually about 1MB in size)...
I actually use fantastico quite a bit but that is because I'm testing out all the items on there for other people.
Fantastico isn't any good if you have to do a restore of forums or anything else that requires a database.
Just my question - to get this price, it has to be paid annually instead of monthly? Thats what I understand from your site so monthly contracts(?) are $32?
Correct. I e-mailed them because I have a clan site for online games and we use a lot of downloads. I think only 30 or 40% of your bandwidth used can only come from downloads. It's not exact but it's close I think.
Any host. The current host I have is having problems. They are trying to fix it - website can't be displayed, can't connect to cPanel but I can access my domain via FTP. The host I had before my current one, took the money and ran. That host was COMPLEXLOGICS.COM. Everything became unavailable...
Hello.
Can anyone help me on what tools/sites to use to check webhosts for info like:
How long they've been around
How much up/down time they've had
How their service and support is
If there are past names they've used before current one
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
