I've got a question... does anyone know of a featureless message board? I don't need all the bloat. Just member login, threaded discussion, avatars, signatures.. just real basic. I don't want smilies, calendar, member list, board stats, birthdays. Just something in the style of VBB, but smaller...

If you honestly need more ram, I'd buy two 1024 sticks. Memory works better with like pairs. And assuming your current video card handles tv tuning and dual monitor, you should be fine with a 128mb card. The speakers you should probably wait until a good deal presents itself on forums like...

I have the same setup. I live in military barracks, so I got the guy two floors up with internet to set up a wireless network. He cables into the router, while I use wireless. Unfortunately, only B will get me connected, G won't even pierce the floors. :( And every brand has their own version...

Have you already looked through script repositories, like HotScripts? Maybe you can contact FanFiction and ask what script they use.

Scripts24's iRedirector is a good script. You can choose advertising methods, if you decide to. If so, you should make back the cost of the script soon enough.
