I would rather get a cheap host. Their are plenty, domain forwarding is ok if you really are very tight on the money front. But to get a cheap host would be best. Webcity.com.au is very expensive, you can register domains from godaddy.com for $8.95 $9.95 with url cloaking (forwarding). Lynks

There used to be plenty of them, but now they have disabled it. Geocities, digitalrice used to support it but now dont. I guess there could be others but this is the only one I know.
