I love domainsite, I've never had any trouble with them and my domains always go live super-fast ( within minutes, sometimes ). The only cheaper one I know of is domainsarefree.com ( $3.99 ), but you need a CC.

You can get a basic registration for about 6.99 via paypal at domainsite.com. I've had a few problems with them ( slow as hell support ) but that was awhile ago and since then, no problems what's so ever and lightening fast DNS updates.

Yep, the deal is over. You can get a .info for 99 cents at domainsite.com, but paypal is wigging on them at the moment. Their support guy told me it'd be fixed in 24 hours, but I'm not sure how reliable that is. :)

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but try http://www.phpcoin.com/. It's decent for webhosting, and I'm sure you could set the plans to $0.00 and it would work for free. Hope that helps! :)

If you're really desperate and need something to use on a single hosting account, try Genesis from xav.com. You can create users and whatnot, it's not the most secure piece script ever created but then it's free and auto installs, and it's all I could think of, lol. Hope that helps. :)
