For a large forum, vBulletin isn't good either. vBulletin uses much more resources than Invision Board. NeoWin.net has been having many server resource problems and will be converting to Invision Board.

If you mean the skinning engine and emoticon management system, that was a big problem. It's been rewritten in version 1.1

Once you use Invision Board, you will not want to switch. (Probably) by the time you save up enough money for vB, you will upgrade to v1.1 and you will decide not to switch.... Then you'll buy yourself a nice jacket with the money you saved to treat yourself for making the right choice...

As I said and have been stressing (with evidence ofcourse :)) Invision Board is the fastest and most resource friendly board. The current stable version of IBF is 1.0. The author has rewritten the Skinning system, emoticon management system and has revamped the moderator control panel.
