like they said, it's based on an honor system. you'll have to trust each other and play nicely. for the most part, it should work well, but once in a while, you'll get some jerk who ruins it for everyone.

Alpha, if you have good ftp logs saved routinely, you can see if anyone had deleted files from another's directory.

PS: someone created a directory labeled "free porn". might want to watch that

From FTP users are not allowed to delete. Same with MySQL the Drop function is disabled. That is designed to help safeguard problems.

Also please remember to create your own directory dont upload directly into public!

There is no file size limit just a total limit of 120GB.

There is no need to apply but if you would like me to set you up with a directory such as openwar.sytes.net/you and get you your own FTP account and MySQL database just email steve.morrissey@openwar.net and tell me the directory you want and i will set you up in 12 hours or less for free.

This is a free service and im doing it because im trying to help those who cant afford space, dont screw it up by messing with peoples files.
 
I love the responce. Over 4900 files have been uploaded in the past 20 hours. And yet only 200MB of the 120,000MB of space is used up.
