Hi guys. I'm graduating this year, so I'll be losing my university webhosting priveleges pretty soon, and I need help finding a free host. Right now my site is very small, and it will probably stay that way since I know that mp3 hosting (even my own mp3's) can be a hassle with a free host, as a result of bandwidth and storage restrictions. So, I guess I'm looking for a nice quick site, with reasonable advertising (the less banners and popups the better), and one that's not a hassle to upload your files to. Storage space and bandwidth aren't really a concern for me. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

What mp3's are you planning to host? I don't know of any free host (that has allowed mp3's) that has survived for longer than a few months.

Well....

For hosting mp3s, you can use www.adultbouncer.com however it is an adult host so you would have to uplaod something of an adult nature to fall into their hosting catogories they have no ads at all, or you could try, www.flushnet.org, they offer 20 megs of space and no ads on your site, and you would have to rename your mp3 files to .js, but they do not allow mp3 files so uplaoding them would be purely your resposibilty, i am not suggesting it, i'm just saying it's a possibility, and then of course, if you don't need to host mp3s, you could try www.evolvadesigns.co.uk :D , we offer 3mb of free webspace, and unlimited bandwith (within reason) and no ads or popups of any kind, if you need an extra few megs thats fine, but don't go over the top....
We do allow mp3s if you request that file type to be enabled for your account but you have to have a good reason and they must now recieve large amounts of downloads, or they will be deleted, you are only allowed to hotlink to them from other evolva account websites, and not other web hosts....

Try 'em :)

Actually, I was planning on not hosting them for that exact reason. They are my own mp3's... I figure I'd just haven them hosted on another site like mp3.com and just link to that. My entire site is only a couple hundred kilobytes at the most.
