this was really great site and offer us great hosting for free but it goes down and all my data lost and i don't know did he take any backup if any one know any thing about his owner tell us to talk with him about our data in the site>
i have a forum with about 1000 topics and 100 members but i lost it all
 
Sorry to hear about what happened. Just start fresh and make backups. Find a reliable host as well..

One thing all webmasters should do is always take back-ups and place them on thier local PC.

My site itself is about 7Gigs big and nothing gets put on there without going into the back-up file before i put it on the main site. For the forums i back up the mysql on a weekly basis.

they are a great host the problem is my forum member got deleted along with all the posts and well.. you get the idea, i lost all that posts needed for hostin. i think it was cause it was inactive but abyway.. they might be back they've been up a while (i was there since the beginning)
 
I hope ahost.ro gets up soon, if at all. Remember to take cPanel backups regulary so not much of your data gets deleted when your host goes down.
 
if we get the backup there is problem!!!

these things happen in the free hosting arena, so the best idea, is to look for another host, and start making backups of your data when you have, so that if or when it happens again, it's no trouble for you to find another free host afterall there are thousands.....
 
Mogadishu wanted!!??

since that you are the owner of www.ahost.ro you have to warn us before you closed or shut down your service incase we can take our backups manually so no problem happens please all members if any one know any thing about him please tell us or him never mind?!!:confused4
 
Since you are not paying him, you really cant complain much. Thats one of the differnce in Paid and Free Hosting.
 
clanr3flex in fairness to mogadishu its not his fault that you lost your data. If you are smart enough you should've made at least a weekly backup. Beside's he's a free hosting provider, you should be thankful he provided you with hosting and you should've done your part which is to regularly backup your files. Just move on and dont make the same mistakes again. Choose wisely next time :) Good luck!

zoom is right, it's your responsability to keep your data safe, and no one elses, what's more, no one ever plans to go down, if he did, I'm sure he would have told his members....
 
Well, that is what i am sayin. Did you ever made a thread appreciating Mogadishu when he was hosting you free and gave you platform. I think NOT! :confused4

And now you opened two threads, expressing your anger against him. He is reselling for the same company as i do and i think he will get back as soon probs are solved. :)
 
i am not complain him u can ask him i thank every time i get online and send him a message every two to three days think him in behind wich to him good luck and god bless him but he shoul tell us to get warned.
i wich he get back soon >

but i want to know if he can help us with the backups ore not so we can return to reality and start from the zero agaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiin>.....
