i like boxSTR. they always keep you in the know. they run from their own DC, good support, just a great host.

and the comment about the 100mb upload: uploads through HTTP are stable at 100mb, that is why most hosts allow 100mb, if they offer 1GB through HTTP, then there is a chance you will time out and loose the upload. that is why most give you FTP access, to upload huge files.

What's wrong with Rapidshare and/or MegaUpload may I ask? They seem pretty solid to me

Umm pretty simple,If i had to choose one of these i would choose Rapidshare.
Cause in MegaUpload i have to download and install that ugly and stupid toolbar.
And it happens a lot the "All the servers in your location are overloaded please wait".
And in Rapidshare is faster.And its much better but still it sucks cause they erase your files.
In filefront is perfect.One of the best file host i ever seen.
For Hotlinking i prefer
hotlinkfiles.com
The problem is that the speed is not always fast.
So thats my opinion

I think Badango and MediaFire is pretty good. Rapidshare sucks because of the waiting time. And you could skip the waiting time at Megaupload.
