Can anyone provide a IPB/vBulletin for me??

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with an up to date version of IPB or vBulletin and hosting for it??

I will, of course, let you put ads on the forum as you wish.

Why not try MyBB, UseBB, PhpBB, etc.? Otherwise, I could give you a free IPB 1.3 forum. If I were you, I'd go with MyBB. You can always convert later. I can also provide free hosting.
 
Nobody in their right minds would give you a free IPB or vBulletin license, legally. An IPB license (last time I checked) costs almost $70 for one year. If you don't even have a community then I doubt they would get the money back.
However, if you get free hosting and use a free bulletin board, like MyBB or one of the many other ones available, then you could place your own adverts on that to make money, then, when you get enough, if you still want to then you could purchase a license for it yourself.
 
Na bro. No one is going to give you that for FREE. Other members are telling you right that get a free one like phpbb,mybb, etc......

Otherwise, you're best off with something like MyBB, PhpBB, MiniBB, UseBB, Vanilla, Phorum, Phptb, RForum, Snitz, Woltlab BB Lite, XMB, PunBB, W-Agora, etc.

A license for IPB/vB simply costs too much for someone to give you for free, unless you can guarantee a high traffic.

Actually, I might be able to provide you with a license for free if you can get about 10 users to complete an offer. PM me if you're interested.

mayb u can use free remote forum hosting which provide Invision Power Board 1.3.1 and make sure that it has been patch

Option 2
get yourself a hosting space and you could try out IntergraMod ( FREE - modded PHPBB FORUM )

hey Beach... if you have access to cpanel, doesn't sound like you do.. however if you get a free hosting that has cpanel and fantastico you can install a free copy of ipb. It's version 1.3 or 1.4 or something, i don't remember. If you want to see what it looks like go to http://forum.circleshosting.com and you'll see a live working version there.

Let me ask your mom if she has a illegal copy of Windows XP 4005. ( No offense lol)

It's illegal to distribute it for sakes it's in their license and on their site! :devious2:

Amen. It's not Invision Board Power, it's Invision Power Board. You cannot redistribute any version of IPB, not even the free versions of 1.2, 1.3, etc.

Some versions of cPanel do not have IPB. I think it's actually 1.2 that's in cPanel. It has to be a rather old install (hopefull upgraded to the newest) to have it. IPS stopped bundling it with cPanel a while back.

If you want to be fully legal, heres your options:
1)- Use an alternative Forum System
2)- Use a 3rd party forum hosting service and use IPB 1.3
3)- Do what I said in my PM

Unless you just happen to find someone with an extra $80 IPB/vB license lying around, they're not going to give you a legal copy of it.
 
If you're planning to get 1000 people to click on my ads a day sure! I'll buy a licence.

Yes, it version 1.3 and only if the host has it enabled in the WHM.
