Yea, it also appears that he stoped posting here. Jan, if I know it right, he would only have paid for the LAPTOPS shipping, but now he just wants lots of old computers.... The reason behind that is aparent.
 
oates151: All you need to provide is your school's contact information and everything can be verified. You don't even need to do anything, just provide the school's name even.

Since the OP won't post contact info, this is certainly a scam. He is probobaly trying to get a bunch of old PC's to setup in his basement and run a hosting business from!
I looked at that other post where he is begging for a laptop. It amazes me what some people have the nerve to ask for, for FREE! It started out with free hosting, then free resellers, and now people are asking for free servers and/or PC's!
I have 2 old PC's I would be willing to donate if this is a legit cause. But, with the OP not wanting to give the contact info, makes me suspicious of his intentions. Also, sendign the PC's to him and not the school sounds a little odd too!
If this is found to be legit, I will send 2 of them. Always willing to help out some kids!
 
Maybe he will post admin contact, he never said he wouldn't. He just won't pay money for legal expenses. If he can afford a lawyer, then he can get a whack of old computers.
 
Sorry guys, wasn't sure I had to get into this, id be paying for shipping, i mean i thought this would be a bit of a favor for basicly taking old junk from you, I didn't know I had to have legal papers, ill just go down to the recycling center and see what I can do, but if anyone still has any PCs that they are willing to donate to the club please do post of e-mail me at pat151a@msn.com

The school admin isn't asking for the PCs by the way becuz she has no clue basicly what a computer is, this was my idea, I was thinking it would work like some ppl around my area would say "i got like 2 old windows 98 PII or III pcs that I dont want any more, so if you could come pick em up or have someone drop em off at ur place then they're all yours. If anyone has a site like www.freecycle.com or something that I can use plz post.

oates, you havn't helped one bit. You need to give details of someone higher up that these people can contact to check this is legit and not just you trying to blag some free servers. Just post your schools website and we can contact the staff admin to check all this checks out. Ok?
 
forget it, thanks but no thanks, like i stated, this isn't some huge thing for my school, its for a bunch of old PCS, i didn't mean to cause this, and I sure dont need all of this junk from SOME of you who are doing me no good *psst craig again who has never helped me ever before*

No more of this unless you can meet my goals, without paperwork etc, id pay for the shipping BTW, then im not that interested and don't have the time for that..

Jen- replying to your post, I was AT school so I cant reply instant, personally I have a life UNLIKE you who must spend every second of the day refreashing posts, You diss me so I diss you back, now I will speak with my principal about you calling her tommorrow, i would prefer you call the teacher who is sponcering the club, since she would be able to answer more of your questions, ill get the OK from her tonight and the principal. Yeh your right. Yup thats in the info, but dont call it or contact it right now, i need to talk with the principal and see if shes still alright with accepted those PCs, becuz she may get into a bunch of contact stuff etc, which is why i may just give u the contact info u my club manager, whos extension you will be able to reach on the school #

scratch this topic, i no longer need those PCS, my neighbor has some stuff hes throwing out, ill just take em off his hands.
 
Make up your mind and stop spamming.

You keep bumping over other GOOD offers and advertisements, which is very infair.
 
Very good offers indeed but my teacher sponcering the club says she does not want phonecalls to the school or to herself, she can do e-mail and AIM etc but she cant let them call the school, which is why i was bumping over the offers, thanks for the post back matt.
 
I find this strange, you first beg for a laptop to start a business. Then, since nobody will do that, you go and say your school now needs PCS. Well, that would be ok, but you were VERY reluctant to give out information, and by the time you did, you suddenly no longer need any of the pcs, since your neighbour suddenly is throwing out old stuff. Hmm.... Then, even before that, you insult everyone who has tried to help you. Well, as it appears, since your school only permits contact via aim, which could very well be yourself, that is just the same as posting here. Above all, I reccommend that if you ever wish to have stuff donated to your "school", that you confirm it with the leaders, who would be able to negotiate it.

Fyi buddy, we all have lives too. It is increddibly mean and disrespecting for someone of your age to insult an adult, seeing as how we have only tried to help you. All adults have jobs, kido, unless they live on the street, of which they would not have a computer.
