I dont get it, It dont seem to make anything faster?
Anyone else used it?

DNSstuff.com said I was using it when I wasnt... so I downloaded it to see what it was, But as far as I can tell it dont make anything faster. :confused4

Tried it - it has a 9 out of 10 yawn factor, does nowt that I could see.

you can change the settings directly, i know a way to make it faster.

This is one way to speed up firefox:

Open Firefox and on the address bar write about:config and hit enter
find the string

network.http.pipelining
double click and change the value to true

find the string
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
double click and change the value to 34

find the string
browser.turbo.enabled
double click and change the value to true

right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".


now close and restart. oh, version 1.5.0.1 and newer dont have browser turbo

It also uses a technology called prefetching which kills people's bandwidth. I've been to sites that block prefetching browsers.

Prefetching ,I use too.
But i mostly use safari ,I think it is faster then firefox

i use opera, it's better than Firefox.

I think just alot of people just firefox becuase they think its the next better thing to internet explorer! i did 350 surveys and one of the questions was "what browser do you use?" Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Or other.

out of the whole 350 no one went for opera... most was internet explorer and firefox, with the odd AOL crap lol

opera has its issues too, Lots of websites are not opera friendly...
Cause not as many people use it.

that i agree on, but it's not as bad as IE7
if you look at the widget "Stay secure" in Opera, it will show you that Opera has 0 vulnerabilities according to Secunia.
