If that movie gets an oscar im hanging myself. Holywood must be REALLLLY out of ideas to even think up of something like that. Seriously...

Ah yes, seen the previews for that too. "Oh, let's just take every B horror movie from the 80s... and digitally add in some FOG! Yeah!"
 
I remember....maybe 5, 6 years back, I saw a comic. I don't remember which one it is, but it's kind of irrelevant anyway. The basic premise was that this couple had just seen a movie and we're talking about it. The girl was like "I understand that you want to keep things original, especially in horror movies where EVERYTHING has been done....but FOG?"

I laughed, because I thought it was pretty funny. No one would EVER make a horror movie about fog. And here we are, 5, 6 years later, and not only is the movie about fog, it's called "The Fog"....ooh, ominous.

The horror movie genre has clearly hit rock bottom.
 
I remember reading those kids ghost stories (you know, the TRUE ones), and there was one story about this blue fog that came out at night,so everyone had to stay in their tent at night, and then it turns out the guy making the fog was trying to keep people away from the gold motherload, and it was the most awesomest story in the book, and I don't know why but I just felt like writing this as a run-on post because it is so stupid, oh yeah, and no period at the end

seriously hollywood is coming short on ideas these days.. there are too many remakes out there have u seen the remake of psycho?? what was that guy thinking?

if they can make movie about fogs why not make a movie about forks ?? where someone kills with fork (like in certain movies)
 
Yes, hotwheelz is right, except the original fog I don't think was that old. I was thinking late 80's...but then again I was born in the late 80's so who knows.

In hindsight, I'm thinking 1982, which would put me at about 7 years of age.... still haven't verified it on IMDB.COM
