Can any of you help me out? I need a free host with about 100mb of storage and 1gb+ of b/w. It would be ideal if all this could be provided with no hassle, no pay by posts or whatever. Just free no catch hosting. I dont mind putting a small banner or a link on my site however. If you want to have a look at any of my work or want to see what mainly will be hosted visit www.myhumour.tk (its crap, but hey it was hosted on Geocities :shame: ).

Remember:

100mb of storage,
1gb+ of b/w,
Something to host phpbb,
Little extras like cpanel will be handy,
Hosts uni.cc domains,
Able to upload website from Dreamweaver,

We can handle that and more at Clubhost ....

Our Bronze account might be what you are looking for. It has 150 MB
web space with PHP, MySQL, FTP, Plesk Control Panel, and Email and
can handle phpBB2 just fine.

There are no ads or posting requirements either.

Wierd! I tried to regsister with club host, registered at the forums fine, then i started to register for hosting and when i filled in my application and pressed submit it came up with this message:

Application Failed: You are currently using a proxy server

Any ideas? :confused4

Why is it that everyone thinks this is tech support over here?
If you have a problem, you need to contact us directly! :shame:

Anyway, the message above, as all our error messages, should be
fairly self explanatory. That message means that you are
connecting to the signup system via an IP number that is going
through an open proxy. In order to submit your application, you will
need to connect directly and not be going through the proxy.

Even if you fix that, I'm seeing one other item that would also cause
your application to fail as well and that is that you are trying to signup
for hosting with a hotmail address as your contact address.

In total, you have two seperate issues that would prevent your
application from processing. My best suggestion is that you submit
a support ticket at http://www.clubhost.us/support.php for help.

i tried many times at shyper but it never work

1. cpanel didn't work
2 "You have entered an incorrect Verification Code. Please hit your browser's Back button and try again." what? you think i am blind? tried 3times
