You would be required to beta test control panels, however you can use the server for your own usage (subject to our terms and conditions) for no cost.

How long will we give you the server for
As long as it takes to complete your beta testing (within a reasonable amount of time). After you have finished beta testing. You can simply have the server with bandwidth included for $10.00 per month or something around that fee.

How do you get this server

Do I get paid to beta test
No. We provide the server 100% free and let you use it for your own usage (subject to our terms and conditions) and provide the bandwidth/power/colocation/ip. Beta testing isn't a job as such. Its just a small task which needs doing and we would like someone else to do it and are prepaired to give away a server for this task.

What exactly do you need beta testing in those cp's?

And would we need to install the cp itself?

the maximum upstream is 128 k ? if not, iam very interested

Yes you would and report any errors installing or how easy it was to install. Its very easy to do.

This is a pre-caution I have taken. I'm afraid we don't use Cogent, bandwidth isn't $30/Mbps. We are giving you an estimated 25GB free per month with a server and colocation in a top class data-center with power free and a free server with connection to our core multiple gig-e cisco network.

I have no projects going at the moment

I'm employed by a company selling co-location and i'm also running a dedicated server company backed by another company [just waiting for the site to be ready to use]. I can provide information for you Jan if you like? The cobalt server is set-up. You can look at the nice Cobalt page. :classic2: NetworkSolutions don't seem to be able to change DNS or InterNIC is just slow using their whois server. Our domain's are yet to even been updated on the interNIC whois database or even NetworkSolutions whois database.

So, do you want me to send you our server IP? AS #? Or what?

This isn't a silly little deal.
Its a deal which involves myself getting the server colocated in our data-center space and giving away 128kbps capped port for the server to use used.

All I want to do is someone else to test these control panels while i'm supporting clients.
Then I will be able to see how good these free control panels are.

I'm not going to provide you with any other information. I simply don't have to. However, I'm prepaired to give Jan some other information to check this is real.

I'm not asking for any judgements here.
I don't have to give away this server.
I could just do this myself on any server.

I can't wait for this domain to be updated and the DNS to resolve.

Carl, I really don't want to get into an argument with you, I just don't understand why people still trust your offers after all of the ones beforehand which never came of anything. Also, I didn't waste much time, finding those, just do a simple search and it doesn't take long to find a thread with you offering some sort of free or paid hosting.

Good luck in your venture, and I am actually looking forward to seeing one of your projects actually come of anything.

Its not a venture of mine.
Lets firstly get this clear.

Some of the later ventures went bad when I lost a job at Myacen.
No income then.
I don't have to explain what happends to the rest of them.

This isn't me offering free or paid hosting, this is me looking for people who could actually perform as task for me.
I have lots of offers to do this from people who could actually do this.

I'm not going to spend any money ordering a server for this if I can't find anyone for this job. Its a cheap computer to buy. :biggrin2:

We have ordered parts for two servers to build them for clients already. I expect to have to order a lot more and different configurations.

This is my full time job.
To sell dedicated servers and co-location.
It will be how I earn money.
Nothing is going to be given away free. The only reason i'm prepaired to give away a server free here is that I need something done and I believe this is the best way to do it.

I have no time for free hosting anymore. I've been bitten in the arse one to many times by working with other people to make these free hosts.
They never survive or at least in my experience.
It is limited but look at the Ezzy Online fiasco.
