gif buttons to test links ??

The forums is getting really really slow, I think that replacing the gif buttons to test links will be alot better for users like me.
is there any chance ?

i am sure there are browser which dont load pics like (like ie 1 )

If you son't want the buttons then you can just use Lynx (the browser).

I have had to do that with a couple of ISPs where they had like 200Mb download limit

Even then I still went over the limit. It helped when I also blocked email size over 20kbs though

Im using the Mozilla , where can I turn off images ? ?

Assuming it is similar to Netscape, edit/preferences/advanced uncheck Automatically Load Images.

If that isn't correct, hit the help icon, or wait till Mozilla users wake

In Mozilla:

Edit>Preferences>Privacy & Security>Images

Press your "Stop" button in your browser if the images load too slow.

IE saves images so why do you need them disabled?
