Hi,

I developed a personal site. It has only 15 pages. I may add some pages, but not more than 5.

unlimited yahoo web hosting plan
globat hosting
easy CGI
1 & 1 web hosting

Please share your experience about these sites and their hosting plans.

For a personal site, no need to go for those grossly overselling hosts. Many reputable hosts have a small plan available for what you would need.

Why not go to the requests section here and see what hosting providers can offer you here?

Honestly... why not do unlimited?

Hate to burst people's bubble's, but I think the uptime results will be MUCH better if you choose a larger host that has the financial means to be able to support themselves better. Smaller hosts get pushed to the bottom of the list and stuff..

I challenge you to find a host here that can provide that kind of uptime, with that kind of space/bw for the price.

I agree, and their downtime is only less than 1 hour, 33 mins at the most, that's amazing. goes to show they have the hardware and network and most importantly the staff that know what to do.

I think that personal web site can be hosted on the free email service.

The smallest one from asmallorange should be enough. You dont need to pay for the resources you dont want!

Personally I think that all of them could be a fit for you.

It depends a lot on your budget and how much traffic that you estimate your site will see.

A bit of personal advice:
If you won't be using that much resources its better to use a cheaper plan. Why spend the money on web hosting, if you can use it to buy come nice coffee and donuts.

Nowadays on the 90% webhosting companies quite difficult all whay you pay for . I believe he pays in hopes to get what he need
