godaddy 2$ domains ?

Hi,i heard Godaddy is offering 2$/domain name until the 10th of October but when i tried to register,the price still remains the same (old price of $8.95) :confused4

Are they really offering 2$ domains or is it just a trick ?

the cheapest way that i have found to get them using this deal is to add the traffic stats which is 2 dollars a month then cancel the traffic stats before you get your second bill. That gives you a 4 dollar +ICANN+tax domain.

Strange,i just registered a domain name with them (plus online storage service worth of 9.99/year) but only a few hours later,my account got cancelled and i received refunds from them Im pretty sure i didnt cancel anything or asking for refunds...

Maybe its just an error,i will probably try registering again tomrrow.Anyways,does anyone know a better place to buy domain name,besides godaddy ?

that doesnt work anymore, they made it so there is a 2 month minimum, 2 months x $2.95 + $1.99 domain name + $.25 icann fee - $1 promotional code (usa6) = $7.14
