I need free web hosting please.

I have been looking around www.freewebspace.net for about a month now. I am currently learning web design and I am totally dedicated and into it. I already have a website currently up, but my current host isn't quite what I need. Here are my requirements, if they work for anyone, please post here, or PM me please.

*100mb - minimum (but I will be very happy with)
*A decent monthly bandwith like at least 2gb monthly will be plenty fine.
*FTP access
*At least 10mb file size limit (limitless is prefered.)
*No ads, banners, ect. Nothing at all, just my own.
*File types allowed... pretty much anything I want preferably.

I don't really care for what files are allowed. As long as .exe, .mpg, .wmv, .zip, etc are allowed I am fine. I don't need mysql, or php. I just need what I am asking for.

-Thanks in advanced for any offers I get. Sorry if its a bit demanding, but I cannot afford or pay for anything at the moment.

If you want to know what I will be using it for, PM me. Its mainly just a personal site that I have and want to host videos and such on. I am thinking about a career with web design, so its important to me. :)
 
And since you want all this for free and don't want ads etc placed up, what's in it for the hosting company who will provide you with this?
 
Well, I will definately not put anything to waste and I will strive to get as many views as possible. Honestly, I just am 100% into web design, and anyone who likes my offer could be thought of as investing me...

Now, I know I said I don't want any ads or anything, but I will definately place (well in your case) http://www.danethicalhost.com/ on the very top of my links page. I can promise only one thing in this, and I really hope its enough. Its that I will always be active. The longest I will go unactive will probably be a week or two, if I am really busy, or on vacation or something. lol. I am learning flash soon, and I want to prepare web space for the near future. Also keep in mind that I do have a web site right now, and if you wanna check it out, I'll PM you the link. ;)
 
Being active is good.. but the host needs to get something out of hosting you too. You may be getting hosting for free, but the host has to pay for the space you are using.

Well, what else could I offer in order to get it? I am willing to offers. Just ask me to do something and if I agree, then we got a deal.
 
how about this

a free asp webhosting, i use it for a long time ,but sometims wheni brows to it ,it is slow to open.
30m web space and asp scripts support access database.

I have noticed that alot of people do not realise hosts must pay for the hosting they are giving away. By placing a google adsense banner on your site, the host will get revenue from any click throughs - but will not be "profiting" from your site. Most clicks generate as little as 3 cents. Remember, the more popular "free" hosting sites such as geocities and angelfire supply between 15 - 20 mb and put popups and huge banners. Most hosts here only ask for a small banner.

I looked through and it says its 50mb of room. The setup looks a bit confusing as well...

danethicalhost, how are you feeling about it so far? I looked at your site, and it seems like its all that I am looking for, I just need you to accept my offer. Is than anything else you would want me to do in order to let me use your hosting?
 
Oh, and no thanks unified. I apriciate your offer, and I very well understand the purpose of those ads, but I know that I can find hosts without ads, and I would much rather prefer to have to look hard in order to find it.
 
Hmm how do you mean ? its free hosting all you need to do is fill in the form and thats it , free cpanel hosting , no ads no links !

After I clicked on the first on it says

'Desired domain name:(companyname.com, yourname.org, companyname.net etc.)'

What am I supposed to fill in there? I know I can't get a free .com domain, so how am I supposed to get free hosting? lol. I must just be dumb and missed something. If I do register with you, do you think you could boost me up to 100mb of storage(only if you can)? And whats your filesize limit?

You must have your own domain name to get free hosting

All free accounts have only 50mb of space only , if you need more space then you will have to pay for it or upgrade to a paid package !

Does anyone else have any offers? I have been PMed by two people and am trying to choose which is best for me, any others? If not, then thanks for all the offers I received, I am greatful to have free web hosting available.
 
Ok, thanks to someone who offered my more than I asked for, I am not happily running my website on this new server. I got all that I asked for, and not to mention I was given a 500mb quota rather than 100. Thanks again for all who offered, but I knew if I took the time to ask, that I could get a great host with plenty of room to experiment, no ads, no file size limit, and way more. Freewebspace.net is great!
