Hello all. My current host that I've had for several months now has been becoming a little flaky lately so I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there who could possibly be better. I currently have a custom package with HostCove (I had the Gold one at one time) that has all of the usual great features and 1500MB of space and 500GB of bandwidth (though it hasn't all been used yet). I currently pay $9.95 a month for it though I'd be willing to go to $15 or so a month if needed. If anyone can help or who may know of another host who can, please let me know. So you want 1.5 GB Space, and 500 GB Bandwidth for $15/month? You would need a dedicated server for that amount of bandwidth, or is it a typo?

it's another overselling story.... :D
you should consider your budget up to $80 for a low-end server. If you need control panel, add some more :)
 
Yeah, HostCove is way overselling....

I've sent you some details of what we have to offer. It's not 500Gb of bandwidth a month but it does the job well :).

Like the topic says, I don't really need 500, onlya bout 250GB of bandwidth. That's just the custom shared/virtual hosting plan that I have. And don't consider it a bad one as they have been really great except for the past few weeks, so I was just looking around to see what else people can offer. I've already done much research on several different hosts, but HostCove has been the best thus far. Please, only reply if you can meet the requirements that I asked and not that my needs are ridiculous. It will save me time. Thanks. :)
 
Even with 250GB transfer per month, you should raise your budget to $60 appreximately. And your story is very easy to understand. From the beginning, they dont have many customers, so you still fine on their server, but after a while, they need to put more customers on server, to take profit, the server is going to overload. then problem is starting...

Are there any more offers for me? Here are my updated needs:

At least 2GB of space and at least 250GB of bandwidth for $20 or so a month (may be willing to go higher...). All of the usual included stuff and great support. Thanks again for everyone's help. :)

just to let you know. Cheapest bandwidth block i've seen sold so far is $25-50/month for a block of 100GB bandwidth

250gb bandwidth is 1/4 of a normal dedicated server which costs around $120 at the minimum or below average. So you should be paying at least $30 dollars, even then i'm not sure you'll be able to get an offer. Anyone that can fill your request must be out of their mind.

They are not saying 250Gb is a problem to sell but you are overseling if you sell it for $15....

ps. I'll give ya 250Gb for $50
