Looking for a new web host

Hi there,

My previous web host has just closed and I am looking for a new hsoting provider for a PHP/MySQL powered web site. (I would be registering a new domain name).

Ideally, I would like the following specifications:

Min 1GB Web space
Min 25 GB Bandwidth
Cpanel/Fantastico (Not required but preferred)
PHP support
MySQL database support (with a min of 5 databases) Pref uncapped storage

Of course a higher amount of bandwidth and web space allocation would be acceptable ;)

I am looking to spend no more than £7-8 a month ($13ish). Is this a realistic figure?

I would need the host to be able to support the Sphider PHP script which can be quite intensive due to the indexing demands.

I am based in the UK and a UK based host or one in which I can pay in GBP (£) would be ideal, although its not a great issue.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

I offer a guaranteed 99% uptime, which will soon be 99.9% but at the moment I am not able to guarantee that. The original poster also didnt ask for everyone uptime guarantees. I do however beleive that was a deliberate attempt to dishonour my company, If you want to play that game I certainly have alot to say about you, but I dont because Im a mature human being unlike some others.

With regard to the last two posts, as Yellowmc pointed out I didn't make a reference in my post to uptime guarantees, although I am glad that various people have offered this information about their services.

Uptime is important, and I suppose I should have included this in my original post however this would have been one of the factors I would have looked for on a hosts' web site or asked them directly. Equally (and possibly more) important however are the specifications I listed, particularly the ability to run Sphider.
