I may be able to offer you hosting for this particular purpose without forum posting, however if its just for a forum do you really need 500MB? Can't you spend just at least 5 - 10 minutes a week maybe around 2 - 5 posts a week on my forum in exchange for the hosting? I can give you 200MB space and 2GB bandwidth free with a link back or 500MB space and 10GB bandwidth for around 10 posts a month? How does that sound? Let me know .

Another thing is, I can let you set up custom FTP accounts for your friends and then they get a directory of your website all to themselves. Let me know if this would work for you.
