Plural of Matrix?

This is a bit of a random subject for a thread, but I am writing something and I need to know the plural of 'Matrix' (as in The Matrix). We thought maybe 'Matrices', as the plural of vertex is vertices, but I am really not sure, so if you could help, I'd appreciate it :)
thanks.

A matrix is a table (commonly used in higher-level mathematics and computer graphic designing), so in this case, goirulz is right. The plural of matrix is "matrices". :)

I am the one. There is no matrix. I control it. Thus I control nothing, thus I control everything. Everything is nothing, since everything is the matrix, and the matrix is nothing. Nothing is Everything in my control and I control the nothing of everything that the matrix makes nothing everything's nothingness.

Stop messing with my mind...please...
That's...scary.

The best part:

Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced
equation inherent to the programming of the matrix. You are the eventuality
of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to
eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While
it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus
not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.

btw, there is no spoon, when you realise it, you find that it's your mind that bends, not the spoon. ;)

Just though i would put in my two cents worth (well 5 censt cause australia don't make them any more), the word 'matrix'has nothing to do with mathematics, its actually greek for 'womb'. :biggrin2:
btw, maybe the mind and the spoon both bend, but if there is no spoon, is there no mind?
