Still any requirement for a freehosting offer?

Dear community,

first of all I'm proud to be part of this community.
I was checking for a while as a guest and saw that there are many offers in the freehosting-section but for paid services.

A long time ago the freehosing business was a hardly competitive business - today there are only a few left and most of them don't even offer a free subdomain, so you will have to make any payment to use it (with your own TLD).

Is there still any need for a freehosting service (Server located in the EU)?
Maybe someone would like to test?

Free hosting can still be useful for testing, small personal projects, or learning, especially if the site doesn’t need many resources. For anything that needs reliable uptime, better performance, or more control, I’d go with paid hosting instead.
