my experience of this service was strange.

I posted required 5 posts and then applied space for my netlabel (not for hosting mp3's!!!) and they rejected my application without explaining why.

so my advice is... if you don't want to waste your time and you're looking
just free space or want spend +5 dollars/euros per month for actually
getting service... try something else than unrealpages.com

it seems to be one of these 'hey lets start offering free space' and
after getting lot of requests they dismiss totally customer service.

even if you're offering something "free", you should allways have
atleast some kind of service for your customers.
 
I would suggest you reapply - an admin mistakenly removed some applications without meaning to; if you had checked the announcements on the board you'd know that. I have received hosting from these guys and love it :)

my name is jukka, not johnny.

I didn't apply for hosting mp3's, like you would know if you would bother to read my application without "magic-glasses".

I can't recommend this service.

1. mods there are unpolite and hostile.

2. mods are talking bullshit about other services/sites.

We ask for 5 posts, but wed love for you to be active in the forums after you get accepted.

what if an admin get so bored he decides to end the free hostting?
What if so many little people click the ads that the site goes broke and has to end the freee hosting?

I guess this is normal schema for all services offering free hosting,
but why to bother if you really can't afford doing it.
 
Hey, if you don't like the services, don't use them. We're aware that Satamusic's an -------, and I keep demodding him, but Chris or someone else keeps remodding him. I never see ANYONE talking bullshit about other hosts or anything. Please let me know if they do, and who does it. As for the abandoned apps, I'm sorry, I'm very busy and niether Bobby, Chris, or Ryan have been taking care of the requests so I'm the only one. I'm going through them right now.

As for the chinese thing, no. We can't host people who reside in china for legal reasons.

If you were rejected, we also have other reasons for rejecting you besides the ones stated in the email. These include a crappy password and spam on the forums.

:tired2: so i am an -------, but i also delete a lot of BS posts from the forums before everyone gets to read them and start fights over them.
 
hmm... I'm not sure how good idea it is to delete posts or edit them.

best thing with moderation is just locking thread. then it slowly goes to bottom and people forgot whole thing.

deleting old posts gives little bit bad taste about whole bboard. :shame:

we dont delete old posts. we delete/edit new ones before other members start wars over them. >its not like we delete 9 out of 10 posts.
 
and then i complain about the service and one of the admins suspends my account for 90 days! what kind of "service" is that?!?!?!?!
