They are having a party for him tomorrow night, but i dont think hes going, if he was, i would go hehe, ive already been invited :p

Damn it, I guess bush is getting an early start on the wars. I hope he doesnt get us into a mess and re instate the draft. im 17 so I will be screwed. :(
We should learn from canada. They only fight when needed. World wars and such.

I don't think we're starting what most people believe as a typical "war". Those wars have long been over and the new wars will all be fought at a distance or through terrorism. So drafting people with no expertise in a particular or beneficial area wouldn't make much sense. The only purpose would be for peace keeping and we have forces that can do this.

I think Iraq must have been asking for this if the US attacked. Keep in mind the US has insane satellite photography and we know exactly what is being built and where. The missile systems are all guided and very accurate so it is highly unlikely they would miss.

I doubt Iraq's claims that children were hurt as well because what are children doing around a military control center or missile launching system? Iraq has the media locked down so tight that we rarely know the truth on the damage it caused unless the US or another country can prove what occurred.

I think President Bush did a good thing here as I don't trust Saddam in the slightest amount. I'd rather keep their military weak and make sure that areas around him aren't at risk. They'll probably attack again once Iraq rebuilds their military, as I doubt either side will give in.

Just my take on things. :)

Saddam has been known to frequently use women and children to surround places that might otherwise be targets for bombings, so it might be true.

Please! Maybe our friends from these bombed countries can tell you how accurate they are and were.

This thread is the saddest showcase of this forum.

Saddam deserves it. Ridiculously high oil prices owe half of it to him... the other half is because it's limited, but we won't get into that right now. ;)

You wouldn't believe how high the oil prices are here... Lemme count my toes for a sec... ah, yes, I think I figured it out. Current prices are: 1 liter for more than a buck at least, possibly two. Dunno. Lost count. :p

Ever seen the Time (magazine, me momma ordered some) reports on some Far Eastern countries? It's sad, man.... you see six-year-olds lugging huge machine guns around.

Canada rules! ;)

Yeah...but we don't fight in wars because we have no military, not because we don't want to. Hey anybody set that SNL episode with "A Glimpse Of Our Possible Future" ? Two weeks into the term, and Bush got half the sates demolished...
