I agree with you to some extent but not fully. Most people dont want php, majority want to develop a free html based content website. Then its better if they find common stuff like image gallery or a discussion area ready made rather then uploading the scripts themselves.

Then its true that we dont have a lot of features, but we have what more than 90% users need and meets 60%+ users full requirement. So our strength is to offer a simple panel to mange your site, so that anyone can become a pro in five minutes. Yes when you login and use our system you will find that its to easy too make your site and change it when ever you want.

We have tested free hosting by many other hosts and our system is lot more easier to use than most others.

One more thing. I have been a long time user of freewebs, our we page editor is way better then theirs. You can edit in visual mode, html mode or in notepad mode. I wonder why dont they improve their editors.

I would aks any one to sign up with freewebs and free2w and comapre the page editing features and total ease of use.

I just dont understand how do they possible get so much user to their website. What is their marketing secret ?

i am now looking for free hosting and as i think your hosting is at the end of my list.... as it doesnt have these features:
1- Too little space ...
2- Too little Bandwidth
3- What is your Cpanel????
4- No FTP
5- What types of scripts do you support????
6- I need no online html editor ...... but i need a ready script installer ....

i hope thta this will be helpful ....

I have to go with this one. I don't care that it's "not mandatory"; you shouldn't be asking for all that at all. It's like a contestant application for one of the weight loss tv shows.

A web developer should be able to make his page in peace.

Look at the bright side, You dont need to fill them up if you dont want to. Those fields are there so that some day we can start a community service like myspace, where you can find the man of your dreams... pirate2 lol

If you or any one has spare time and asp or aspnet skills, you can work on this project, you are most welcome.
 
What about putting that whole section on a different page, labeled something like "community"?

You are being fair enough - this meets my favorite topic these days - "you can't do privacy and myspace at the same time".

hosting

I am looking to attempt to start my first wordpress blog. I would like a free host with no ads or banners or pop ups. mysql and fantastico or program to install scripts.
 
Also of course I think I say this for all. I want a host that will be around for a while. Nothing is more frustrateing than setting up a site and in 1-2 months have the host and site disappear. :beer:
